In Flemish Brabant, we try to facilitate cycling mobility for everyone. Bike rental, sales and repair are our core activities. Recycling used bikes, striving for quality and affordability have been our guiding principles for 30 years. Besides our passion for bikes, we consciously choose a sustainable way of working with people and resources.
At all VELO locations, everyone can get their bike repaired (with the exception of the DIY repair workshop and VELOPunt FD, which are for specific target groups). Our prices are in line with the market. We aim to assist you as quickly as possible. If available and appropriate, repairs with second-hand parts are sometimes possible.
Students looking for long-term bike rental can visit our dedicated website. For children, we have VELOKadee. If you want to rent a bike for a day, a weekend, a week, etc., you need to visit one of our bike stations. Over there, we offer various types of bikes: city bikes, e-bikes, and bikes for people with limited mobility. If you have a specific question (e.g. group rentals), please contact us!

VELO sells second-hand bikes, and they are true gems. Top-notch circularity. All bikes for sale have undergone a thorough inspection and are in excellent condition. The range of bikes (city bikes, racing bikes, e-bikes, speed pedelecs, etc.) can vary daily, and prices also vary (starting from €150). Private leasing of a second-hand bike is also possible thanks to our partner Bike&Co. Feel free to stop by our headquarters (Heverlee) or our bike stations in Aarschot and Diest.
VELOKadee is VELO’s rental service for children’s bikes. You always receive a quality bike tailored to your child, ranging from balance bikes to larger children’s bikes. When the VELOKadee bike becomes too small for your child, you can exchange it for a larger one within the same rental agreement. VELO aims to give all children the opportunity to ride a sturdy and safe bike (at a subsidized rate). Additionally, maintenance is included.
